BIOGRAPHY

Louisa was born and raised in Winchester in the South of England. She spent much of her formative years performing in musical and dramatic performances with a variety of theatre groups, exploring both her acting and vocal skills from an early age.

Classically trained to Grade 8 in both piano and singing, Louisa has adapted her formal training and developed it into her own style, influenced from the jazz roots she grew up loving.

Louisa has spent the last five years professionally touring with a number of respected musicians; taking Dixieland traditional jazz standards to the heart of Hampshire and beyond; providing lead with big bands throughout the south and taking time out to perform at events, solo or accompanied by her band.

Her repertoire includes timeless smooth jazz classics from Sinatra, Ella, Gershwin and Porter and more recently has been augmented with original compositions from her latest album.
